comcast's triple play is a promotion that only lasts six months. it's spelled out plain and simple on comcast.com. after the six months you're looking at much higher prices. Again, it's all spelled out plain and simple on comcast.com. Cox? Ugh, not even worth my time to type out why it sucks (cox.com). Depending on where you live, Qwest is going to be the way to go as the prices don't go up (qwest.com). qwest partners with DTV so that makes it a good deal. if you're ONLY looking for tv and not internet or phone or anything else then DTV is kinda pricy but you DO get what you pay for (over 250 channels all digital) also, all the myths about it going fuzzy during a storm are false. if you have that problem then your dish isn't set up right, call DTV and they'll fix it and give you a credit for your time of being out of service (directv.com)

DISH network.. Love the channel order better than direct tv.

But I do have comcast cable internet

I have Direct TV for my television needs, I live in the bum**** middle of nowhere and it NEVER goes out even when our cable providors cable TV does. I have road runner cable for internet, mostly because I have a choice between it or dialup...nobody else offers net service to my area.

I'm about to switch my TV to a dish because the selection of HDTV channels is much better. I like cable for internet though, it's hard to beat.

I don't know why everyone's comfortable paying for something you're not getting. for example: 6M cable is just as fast as 1.5M DSL. if you're gonna go for an uber fast speed at least save the bucks and go DSL or Fiber Optic.

thats got me wondering too.and i looked again and i think the triple play is for a year.

"The Comcast Triple Play

Comcast Digital Cable with Channel 1 On Demand, Comcast High-Speed Internet, and Comcast Digital Voice® are now only $33 each per month for one year when you subscribe to all three.

When I had DSL it took a hell of a lot longer to upload stuff to my host. For $30 a month I'll stick with cable. It has been reliably fast for me for 2 years.

i had direct tv in my old apartment and it had a thing with bellsouth, internet, tv, and phone for $99 a month. comcast wouldnt come to my apartment
