Very cool community. Love the ray aro and tig combo. Id be careful with the discus .. it might become leo snack when the leopoldii gets bigger.
Hmm, i think that will still be quite a long while more, coz the discus are about 5inches big.. haha, thanks i got the idea of tigri and leo combo after seeing a picture in an aro forum, the black and white combo in the tigri and leo make very sweet contrasts..

it should regrow it needs to be significantly worse than that and get to the promordial cells to not be able to regrow...
thanks very much, it is very comforting to hear this statement from you. =)

I couldn't have been more surprised if I'd seen a hamster doing the backstroke at the top of your tank! What a combo! It's amazing that none of those discus ever "disappear"!
Haha, ya the joker man... nah, the discus area already about 5inches and so they cant fit into any of their other tank mates mouth.. though at night i sometime catch the leos munching on their tail by mistake thinking its food that they can swallow..

im moree intresetd about your filtration can u take pics and write a litle info about it
i use a 2 tier X 3 compartment of overhead filter. The top tier is the mechanical filter, with 4 layers of cotton filters and a filter mat. The 2nd tier has mixtures of ceramic rings, bio balls, other bio filter substrates and the bio home plus (Bio - home plus is the best bio filteration product, i added only 300gm of the it about 2 weeks ago and can see my water quality inprove very much. i am going to get more of them later)

Nice set up.
I would have proberbly had some sort of substrate on the bottom to prevent the Aro looking at his reflection on the bottom of the tank this decreasing the chance of him geting droop eye !
Other than that you have a really impresive looking tank and those discus's look huge!

as far as acrylic tanks they dont have reflections, when i look into the tank from above all i seem is the wood color from the stand.
I put white stryoform on the bottom of the tank, thus there isnt any reflection of it. the only thing that might get its attention to look down are the ray tank mates it have. It doesnt have any droop eyes now, but will keep that in monitor, thanks.
