Hello; While I do not know the reason for the apology, I will speculate about it without complete information anyway.
My guess being she is not sorry for what she did. How could a person not have an understanding of the situation when doing something like the picture I saw. She is likely only sorry that it apparently did not go over as well with her peers/audience as she had hoped.
At any rate we may have at least one example of Trump bashing that is too much for even many of the Trump haters. Did Clinton's daughter say it was too much??

We've found the reason for her apology....CNN has fired Griffin from their New Years Eve show that she has been co hosting with Anderson Cooper.
