Coming back to poly keeping

I did, but the fish still aren't in it yet. It's a 180 acrylic drilled, not properly for Herbie or bean animal. It came with a wet-dry and I guess I'm converting it to Herbie? I'm trying to make sure the flow rate is right while keeping the tank is quiet. If you know anybody who can help, please let me know.. Thankfully been getting help from some patient people in the Filtration section. I have the gate valves and some unions.....PVC cement and primer are arriving next week. It's been taking a really long time due to 1. Me not knowing what I am doing/ learning how to make the tank better. and 2. work and school. It's gonna be great when it finally gets finished! I've been learning plumbing info which is probably a good thing.
