Coming back to poly keeping

Maybe there could be more crossover between some of the FB groups and MFK? Eventual conventions, meetups, etc? I've noticed a lot of my favorite MFKers post on both which is nice; however, I do favor the MFK forum. FB does make it very easy to post pics of fish though. I used to have the MFK app on my iPhone, but it stopped working and I couldn't re-download it. Not sure if MFK fixed the app or not?

I think they should, it will make it easier for the rest of us.

The app won’t get fixed. No more support for it. It was a decent app. Fb seems to be killing the forums. Especially this one. Not sure if it’d be good or bad. Meetups/meetings would be great though.

Poly threads are always the most active here and I’m all for it. It’s frustrating so many of the species are hard to come by via online or lfs. Where are the midsize Teugs, Weeksii’, Retros, etc,. And don’t get me started on the mislabeled species on some vendor sites

Retros are hard to find imo, teug and weeksii you already know who has them instock. Ive only trust a few vendors that wont mislabel a bichir, but sometime some vendors get them correct, only problem you dont know where they caught them.

I just want to grow the collection ? got so itchy I bought a leucistic senegal lol good news tho it’s been 1.5 weeks on black sand and it’s still white

Any bichir will do, even huge poly collector still collects sen. Have you talked to jim, he has WC del, teug and weeksii, also has congi, most 10-12”. Im just not sure about the teug.

Haven’t seen any of those on fish station? going to order a Palmas, Koloton and Endli, gotta stay under 9 inches for now cause the Ansorgii is still kinda small
