A couple of things to note for those of you that plan on giving the NLS 10mm a test drive. The 10mm is not only large, but due to the low inclusion rate of starch/carbs it will be a very firm pellet, and will not soak up water like a sponge. (as some foods do)
This may affect palatability with smaller specimens, and may even require some training for larger specimens.

On the plus side it will not easily fall apart in your tank, on the negative side (if you can call it that?) it will most likely only be readily consumed by those fish which are large enough to swallow it whole. Do not expect a 7" oscar to readily consume this formula, it's designed for BIG fish, with big mouths & strong jaws.

How large is a 10mm pellet compared to a Massivore Pellet? How will pricing compare to Massivore?

10mm is approx the same size as massivore.

Pricing should be approx half of what massivore retails for, but Pharoah can fill you in on that.

Exactly, and not only that you are supporting a Made in the USA product, that IMHO is of far higher quality than massivore.

Even if it happens to take a few weeks to train ones fish to eat this food, in the end it will be a bonus for both yourself & your fish.

Cost wise how does NLS compare to Kensfish.com prices? How about quality?

I am looking to place a big order in the very near future for some 7.5mm floating, 10mm sinking, and maybe some 5mm sinking/floating in quantities of around 5-10 pounds each. Can you get me some prices on these shipped to Naperville?

Or even better can you hook me up with a price list from NLS?

I think that you'll be hard pressed to find a more nutrient dense & digestible food than NLS. Having said that, if cost is the only factor, most feed mills sell generic fish food in bulk (for dirt cheap) that is in the same league as a lot of the various middle of the road products that you can purchase cheaply online.

New Life doesn't supply price lists to hobbyists, but I'm sure that Pharoah would be happy to supply you with his price list.
