boston is nice but other than having fun with history theres not much to do unless you know people.. la is a dump but theres lots to see.. nyc is alright but other than seeing the sites theres not much to do unless you know people..

If you want to see wilderness-type stuff, try the Northwest. From San Francisco to Portland is a great road trip - Redwoods, the Rogue River, head East for some high desert, then through the Cascades to Portland. September's weather in Oregon is darn near perfect, in my opinion.

Boy, I'd be careful if I was you on the eastcoast. A lot of those people are old american families who still remember the revolutionary war and may be a little bitter still. may do, the last time i was in the US i went to a LA Kings hockey game and i dont follow hockey but it was good.

I'm right by Williamsburg, VA. You could come visit CNU if you wanted to, and Norfolk is 20 minutes away, an VA Beach is just a bit further. All sorts of stuff around those 3 places. Oh yeah, definitely go to Busch Gardens, awesome park!!!!
