hey guys its been awhile since i posted anything.. was thinking if i should have a comm tank of goldies or have a single fish in one tank? any advice pls?:)

If u can have a comm of goldies and they all get along I would do that...

how big is your tank? dimensions? honestly imho
i dont think its a good idea to do any aro comm.
in a tank under 600g but thats just me... heck i
have a few aros myself and would love to see them
all together but my biggest tank isnt big enough... lol
and any bigger won fit in my house =/ ...

If budget permit and with huge tank, why not give a try bro =)

Oohh hell no dude. A 6ftx2.5ftx2.5ft isn't big enough to house to house one aro. Don't do it unless by goldys you mean gold fish. Then go nuts. But don't please for the sake of the fish don'teven try to house one aro in that tank, unless its a growout tank.

i'm sure there's a lot example in your neighbourhood .... :D
i think 6x2.5x2.5 is quite enough to house 6-9 aros temporarly til sub adult

i have a com of aros, but theyr only about 3-4" and its kinda hard, they fight constatly, even bullied my smallest one to death :c
i think its cause theyr new in my tank and fighting to be boss :P
but if your $$ can allow you to give them the space they need then got for it :P
might be weird to say but theyr really cute :]]

that tank is too small though it meets the "bare minimum" for a jardini if you want you can a single jardini in it.

If you dont mind your aros missing a scale or 2 and if you dont mind them having small tear in theyre tail .... go for it.
Its a lot of fun once the hierarchic battle is over .... o wait the hierarchic battle never ends there are only truces from time to time.
Well thats my experience and its a little limited since my comm is only 2 years old and none of my aros a mature yet. hopefully one day my comm tank will be 100% peaceful
