"COMMON FISH" you've never kept but want to???

Just like the title says, what "common" fish do you want to keep but never have? Why have you never kept them?

For me it would be:
common pleco
green terror
oscar
midas


For me, I have saved most of my tank space for some rare'er species to focus on goals. I will own them one day, I need to know what all the fuss is about. Lets hear em?

HOWEVER: I ordered a blushing ghost knife at work and and growing it out for my 165

Also, I am not a big cichlid guy, but I am hypnotized by parachromis cichlids like the dovii and jags.

Luckily for me, I work at a LFS and all the bread and butter variety fish are always in so it is kind of like I do own them.

Coming up on my 47th year of keeping multiple tanks/fish. I can't think of a single common species I haven't kept at one time or another. Especially while I was gaining qualifying points for Master Breeder.
