Oscar for sure, mainly because of the personality their supposed to poses.. Haven't kept one because I have never had the room so far.

Any livebearers.
It's because I fear being overwhelmed by babies that I have to kill because they don't find homes. Already happened to me with cichlids many years ago and more recently plecos.
I don't like destroying unwanted baby fish, plus it gets me lots of hatred online for being such a bad person who kills pet fish.

Oh good one! I am actually picking up a colony of FM's soon. No clue why I have never pulled the trigger on them before? They are so beautiful.

I am with you on wanting to keep them but I wouldn't consider an asian aro "common" by any means.

Just like the title says, what "common" fish do you want to keep but never have? Why have you never kept them?

For me it would be:
common pleco
green terror
oscar
midas


For me, I have saved most of my tank space for some rare'er species to focus on goals. I will own them one day, I need to know what all the fuss is about. Lets hear em?

i wouldnt consider a pure midas common most bought at stores are usually midas/devil hybrids its hard to get a pure midas without knowing where it came from...
