Clown loaches. I know they grow slowly but a shoal of 5+ foot long adults would require more tank space than I can afford at the moment.

Coming up on my 47th year of keeping multiple tanks/fish. I can't think of a single common species I haven't kept at one time or another. Especially while I was gaining qualifying points for Master Breeder.

I should have been more specific (Phil and his secret fortress of doom aka "hatchery" doesn't count!)

1) A nice pond of Koi that I could enjoy for years and leave to my children.
2) Red Tailed Catfish
3) Rope Fish
4)A large Black Ghostknife

I would like to have a very large room with plenty of windows for natural sunlight. The floor would actually be a divided pond with Koi on one side and large Catfish on the other. There would also be waterfalls, fountains, and stepping stones to walk through the area with several seated viewing areas. This is more of a dream than a possible future endeavor. The Rope Fish and BGK would be nice to have in an aquarium. I could actually set up an aquarium for a Rope Fish and BGK now, but my tanks are currently dedicated to other fish that would not make good tankmates for them. I know this is far more info than you wanted so I'll end it.

Oh good one an RTC! I would love to keep one. Just a pond or two short of being able to house one

Yeah, stingrays for me too if they count. Also if we're doing SW too I've always wanted a nice reef community, and also love lionfish (kind of the Oscar of SW? )

Edit: oh also FW angelfish! Maybe discus too...

If we are going SW too, I would add a procupine puffer and madarin goby for sure!!!! I will end up keeping both species one day

If any of those species are "common" in Texas I am on my way...! Hmm a house full of asian aro's and machine guns.. Sounds lovely

Killifish

Killifish are actually pretty rare. you need to place special orders to get them.

Small mouth bass or LMB, Don't have a big enough tank at the moment but when i get one i am gonna get me some
