I have been in the hobby for only 3 years, and i have never had any goldfish, koi, or african cichlids.

The only common fish I've kept are bettas and otos. Everything else makes people say "What?" when they see it.
I would love to try some wild type livebearers. My LFS has some wild sphenops mollies right now that look really nice.
