I have a 60 gallon aquarium, 36 inches long, 18 wide and 22 high. water temp 80f, ph 7.5 and all the bad levels 0. For tankmates I have 3 blood parrots a little over two inches but their chubby and one female and two male convict cichlids around an inch. I was at petsmart today looking for a clean up crew and figured a small pleco might be a start (im aware he will out grow the aquarium). I chose a healty four inch common and within an hour he was cleaning the glass and sucking up blood worms! but now im wondering do I have the proper setup for the fish? how fast will this guy grow with plenty of food? how long will he last in the sixty gallon? is this little guy going to help keep the tank clean being so small? is my aquarium currently overstocked? any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! im going to upload some pics of the aquarium and maybe you guys can tell me if its a good setup for a pleco. thanks for any help!
