Do common snappers eat cow liver? Well I know they will eat it, but is it an okay meal for a young one?

Yes, it is fine. They are garbage disposals and generally, if it is unprocessed meat, it is alright for them to eat.

I will have to somehow disagree, its a very fatty food, the awnser is: yes you can but mostly avoid. Quality turtle pellets like reptomin is much healtier.

lean bait fish (big head minnows and shiners) are also good if your snapper does not accept pellets.

What about platies/swordtails? I got a bunch that have an exploding population.
