Common snappin turtle and AST update

Mine grew from a 50 cent piece size, to over 5 inches in his first year! He's since slowed down, but at 7 years he is almost 16 inches in carapace length. Maybe it's just genetics? Nice turtles!

Nice going.... They say if you can get then to grow an inch a year then you're doing a good job.
 
I love my AST, though he is a little shorter now LOL, I had him with a RES who was nip happy and took the tip of his tail off.
