At least? Maybe now its big enough ^.^
Width 12, fish is 8". Imma get him a bigger thank when it learns jumps to my hand and grab food!
I've been considering in getting a 48" long tank cuz i have a 50" extra space, but my father just got me a plywood stand so i gotta wait for a while so he doesn't get mad.
Do u know how big does black wolf fish grow and is it more aggressive than malas? i wanna get one from Shark Aquarium, i think its refering to xingu wolf.

Far from big enough.. especially now. Mine is 9" and he's in a tank with a 48x18 footprint and this is bare minimum for him.

My fish are in a 125gal tank, the wolf fish is roughly 6-7".the Cowfish seems more aggressive than the wolf.None of the other fish seem interested in the Wolf fish,i am worried because the wolf hasnt eaten any shrimp yet,the cowfish has though.

hmmm....im not sure how long this combo will work. could go either way....especially with the eel. are u watching whats happening when u drop food in. until he gets used to the tank try dropping food right in front or the wolf, or tie a piece of shrimp with some fishing line and dangle it around, heightning his prey drive. hes new and prob. still gettin adjusted and water cows are complete pigs, so that guy could eat till he pops...lol. wolves when young can be aggressive or docile, they dont get the mean streak till around 12in so dont expect him to be a complete bruiser jus yet...lol....good luck...

Yep, give him time and he will eat. As stated try to get the food right near him. Wolves can be difficult to feed when they have tankmates especially if they are the only nocturnal fish in the tank.

agreed and for a 15in and up specimen, i would say a 120g. wolves are more active than people think, they are nocturnal. and dominator in your vid, that tank looks really bright and kinda bare, wolves like low to dim light and cover. they are not an open water fish.
That was b4, i dun use fluorescent light anymore cuz this fish will bump everywhere and hurt itself when it is too light. It swims actively at night and its upper teeth are growing back and are very sharp.
By the way, i think these are a type of Snakehead, snake-looking fish that hibernates like snakes.

def. not a snakehead...both have cylindrical shaped bodies, and nice teeth and jaws, but thas about it...lol. wolves are wolves and snakeheads are snakeheads. glad that you got that bright light outta there and glad to hear its teeth are growing back. they are very resilient fish. good luck.

up to 20 inches USUALLY.there are variants that get to over 24".
eat anything over time.meaty foods mainly.will take pellets eventually.
very hardy fish.water params not very important.just clean and stable.
growth varies alot.some 0.5 inches per month and some over 2 inches per month.
growth slows at around 12 inches.
not aggressive fish given the right circumstances.
