On second thoughts I am going to say it is a common pleco.

Imo, its definitely a hypostomus, there are a few it could be, but i think it could be Hypostomus boulengeri

Heres a shot of my old pleco, I'm not sure what it was but IMO it looks like the one in the first pic you posted.

I bought this one as a common from a LFS 5 years ago (traded it in 6 months ago when I changed tank setup/stock).

Is this what you have? or is it different?
