what are some community fish that are popular and that you like i got a 14 gal so just want to know some options

cardinal tetras and some corydoras in a planted tank would be nice.

Impatient much? 8 minutes in between your first and second posts. Anyway, most of the fish people like on this site are far too big for a 14gal tank. Tetras are probably the way to go. Glass catfish are cool imo, but mine don't do much except hang around together in the same spot in their tank. Kuhli loaches are awesome too, but like to burrow away so you dont see them much.

Barbs or Tetras are cool come in many sizes and colors! Keep in mind most of those fish do better in small schools of 3 to 5? Some of which will get too big for your tank? (1" of fish per gallon)? you can get away with more depending on your filtration. You can PM me? I have done a lot of small tanks and I can give you some more ideas of what you can and can't put in there!

Just picked up 6 Harlequin Rasbora's today, they look like they're gonna do a good job adding some interest to the top half of the tank and once they colour up should look nice.

I'd do about 5-6 neon tetras in a 14G............
