Be sure to remember that these guys prefer slightly lower temperatures (between 68 and 74) and don't like the soft, acidic water that most danios and rasboras are found in. Neutral with medium hardness seems to be perfect for c. margaritatus.

those are awesome fish, if you can i'd try to find a private breeder or such because when they come into stores they are usually rediculously tiny. at least around my area. like 1cm tiny.

i have a mix between rainbow sharks and albino rainbow sharks in my 10 gallon they are amazing!!!
