I say do some fish that you see come up alot...I think either a Festae (if male be in the breeding barred color see below), Dovi, umbie. Only thing with the festae idea is it may be hard to tell what it is if its in black and white...dunno.
Peacock bass, cichla temensis would prob be the best specie due to the high contrast for the black and white
