Something like a Kenyi can be very mean, probably in the top 5 most aggressive cichlids including sa/ca imo

But if you want an American tank I agree with Tyler, don't get a 125 because they have a bad footprint instead get a 150 or 180
125 and 150 have the same foot print... Or generally they do from what I've seen.
Oh a friend has a 150 that's 72 x 24 x something else but that's the footprint I meant didn't know there was another one
There are tons of different footprints available in 150 and 180. Different manufacturers offer varying sizes 
. I just personally prefer a minimum of 18 inches . The fish have to be able to turn around comfortably without contortionist moves to do so

So I stand corrected... The 150 I was planning on getting (from petsmart) is 4'x2' foot print... Which means I'm getting a 125 instead. However, I feel like the 4'x2' is a bad footprint for cichlids. Anything that needs that 2 feet front to back needs more than the 4 foot length.
