Community tank

Very nice setup mate,is there 7 aros in there can't keep up trying to count them lol,how do they get on with the gar and will you be upgrading for all of them or ?
What are the dimensions?

They are doing great the yellow tail is turning out really nice he has a nice redish-purple shine and the green well its a green :) they are between 12 to 14 its hard to tell .
i still regret passing on that rose gold of yours

Hi Steve there are 8 aro right now 3 SR 1 YT 1 G 1 RTG 2 HBRTG and soon they will be 10 as i am expecting 2 BBXB in a few days. they get along with the gar but i must admit i take no chances and keep there belly full everyday. ( i do have a continuous drip and change 25% water daily that is the only way i can keep nitrate bellow 10 ppm with all that food going in )

My original plan was that this tank would be there permanent home but as they are growing im thinking i will need a bigger tank. How i will get that approved by the wife is a big ???
Also i realize that this tank is not very well suited for arowana because since they jump from time to time they do get minor injuries when they hit the top. As they are getting bigger and stronger i am starting to be a little concerned that they might get seriously injured in the future

dimension now are 125 x 32 x 30 filled at 100% the upgrade ( when and how still to be determined ) will be 125 x 48 x 38 but the waterline will still be at the 30 mark . That way when they jump they would have 8 inches of clearing and not hit the top all the time thus reducing the probability of injury .

If I did sold my rosegold, I would have regret selling it too. :)
 
Lol he lost part of is mouth due to poor water quality a few years ago or maybe it was cuz of a fight not too sure but he is a survivor and because of that i am forced to keep him till the end.
even if he is pretty scary.
