Can someone plz help me with a good match for a community tank. What I want to know is what fish species can I put with my cardinals?I have a 11G with a 66G/h trickle filter and I'm looking for +-15 fish in total including top-,mid- and bottom feeders?

11 gallons is very small, even to non-monster fishkeeprs.
However your turnover is good so the tank size if more of the limit here.

If I were you, I would go with 3 pygmy Cory catfish, 3 hatchet fish and 5 cardinal tetras. Although that breaks all the rules as all three groups are shoaling fish that really need to be in groups of 6 of more. That is really your limit on such a small tank. And I would suggest a number of small Amazon plants, and hey-presto you have a nice Amazon biotope.

11G is very small for what you want, but look at neon tetras or zebra danios. the danios are mid/top and VERY active

Why not add more cardinals and some extract and make it a blackwater tank!

4-5 pygmy cories, 5-6 cardinals, 5-6 pristella tetras, and maybe 5 of the dwarf hatchetfish (C. myersi). The myersi are much smaller than most hatchets. Even though an 11g tank is small so are these fish. Your total biomass for these fish is less than 7 cubic inches so it will work for your tank, and maybe leave room for a few glass/ghost shrimp as well. I keep 5 glowlights and 6 shrimp in a 1 1/2g tank in my bathroom. Here are a couple pics, the dwarf hatchets and the pristella tetras.
