I was looking into rainbowfish and they look sooo cool & colorful,but concern is will my red tail barracuda leave them alone?

the barracuda can get 11 inches and gars get to be about 34 inches. how big are these rainbows?

My gar is around 5 and the cues like 4 the rainbows I saw at the lfs were around 7 I believe might be just me but they looked big
