Comparison growth: black and silver arowana

I want to keep this thread going by posting pics periodically, like once a month or twice a month, that way we can all see their growth. I think that would be cool. The black looks so much more healthier than when I first got it from the LFS its fins healed and he packed some fat on.
What are the differences between a black and silver? 1. Total size? 2. Personality? 3. Any other? I finally am learning to research before buying. Thanks.

From what I have read blacks will get over 36" like silvers, just takes longer. My black is much shyer then either of my silvers. Also she is not as jumpy as either of the silvers, but does scare just as easily. When my silvers get spooked they just fly off in any direction slamming into whatever might be in the way. With the black, if she is spooked, her burst are more controlled not slamming into anything.
