In the garage
I was thinking of building a large tererrarium, about 8'L x 8'T x 4'W outside dimensions, 8'L x 5'T x 4'W inside dimensions. It's going to have a pond about 4'L x 3'W x 2'D. I'm leaving a space for lights on top, and a space for the pond below. I was thinking of a stock of something like this: Green anoles, House geckos, Five-lined skinks, Green treefrogs, Barking treefrogs, Reed frogs and Smooth green snakes. Would they all get along in an enclosure that large? Please give me any advice that you have with these species.

I wouldn't waste that on those tiny critters! Get some cool bigger lizards; basilisks, green water dragons, etc...

After i thought about it, I decided either green basilisks or shorten the cage and get 2 B/W tegus.

also i believe green snakes will eat the anoles.

I thought that green snakes were one of the few insectavorious snakes? I was just trying to get a bunch of small species that would all eat crickets. I think I might go with the tegus. After reading about them, they seem like the perfect pet for me. What is the ideal diet for them? There seems to be a lot of conflicting info on the internet.

rats, mice, roaches, ground turkey, fish, prawns, crabs

by green snake do you mean like the vine snakes? i looked into buying vine snakes and you could only feed them anoles. thats all they would eat. so i didnt get it!

No, the north american green snakes: Rough Green snakes and Smooth Green snakes. I dont know the scientific names, but I thought they were almost entirely insect eaters. The smooth greens are endangered here in indy, so I'd be getting the smaller rough green snake. BTW, anyone know how many I can keep in a 1'L x 1'W x 2'T mesh cage?
