OK ive got a 55 gallon with one small flowerhorn and today i added another flowerhorn (slightly smaller) and a tiger oscar (lil bigger) and my flowerhorn is tearing both of them to shreds (ripping fins, messing up lips). What should i do? I put a tank divider in for now to keep the new oscar and new flowerhorn safe .

Such is life with monsterfish...

Keepers LOVE the high aggression level and prey drive of these fish but act suprised when they try to kill each other....

Pick up another tank....55's will be too small for flowerhorns OR Oscars eventually.

and ive got several other 55's and a 125. i could set up another 55 but i dont have a stand =(

Yeah,usually Flowerhorns cant be kept together,kinda like Red Devils.

55 would not be sufficient if you planned on breeding the original FH and wanted them to raise the fry
