also, gars are kind of passive . . . and a larger pbass might challenge a smaller or same-sized gar.

yah i was thinking of doing it like this .. starting by putting in the 3 bchirs and the gar .. let them grow both to around 8" then bringing in a 5" silver and maybe the 4 or 5" pbass .. hows that sounding?

and still dunno which pbas would be best for what i'm looking for? for around a 180 gallon tank. id prefer two if i could fit them as opposed to one bigger one. let me know though.

you have to understand that there is no set formula for this. you use good or your best judgement and knowledge and make your buys based on that. you have to also consider cost and lfr availibility of various fish that you want at the size that you want. you can't guarantee that they can accomodate you.in an exact manner. it's a little trial and error.

its not looking to good right now. it wont fit in my dads suv weve figured out. trying to find someone with a truck thats willing to do it. all courier companies have said its not gonna be cheaper then 500 just to get it brought to me so dunoo whats gonna happen. might have to wait it out and find something else. i was pretty upset when i seen the measurements.

Alright .. so sometimes when one door shuts another door opens .. lost out on the 155 but i'm 95% positive i will be getting a 220 sometime in the next couple of weeks (fingers crossed that it all works out)

so with this stock list i still need some help .. assuming its going in the 220 gallon ... my stock list idea is now:

1x silver aro
1x florida gar
3x bichirs (need to know which would get along best with stock list, also wud like 2x of one find and 1x of another)
2x pbass .. need to know which will work .. still have no suggestions
1x catfish .. way open to opinions on what kinda cat would get along with this stock list well.

so would like suggestions to the above questions .. as well as a timeline of when and what relative sizes to buy everyhting at so it works out ..
