rays will be fine.
different armatus have different personalities.
you might just get one thatll kill all those aros.

Yeah, that's what i was thinking. Well, when i do manage to get my hands on armatus, i will put with silver aros ... errr they are less expensive.

Hey, channarox, armatus expensive in Singapore or not? Hehehehe if it is, it will not do to have it killed by cheaper silver lol

generally cheap for their size compared to those in US.
but very very few here and most are 10 inches and bigger.

there are alot of factors in tryin to make a comm work. armatus size, his agression, aro size, tank size, other tankmates, etc.

a large tank deff helps.

my armatus killed 2 aros in his day, and shanked alot of other fish. mine didnt like aros because they swim above him where he likes to snatch his food.

for the most part, armatus are known to be very aggressive twards others.

i found it was best for me to keep him solo with rays....

Just as well then, i have two motoros on order so that could be its future tank mates then ... heheheh i am gonna try silver aros anyway ^_^ not risking asian aros

PS: the tank should not be a problem (plan 350gallon 8x3x2.5)

lemme know if you come over!!

Don't temp me ^^

what you have one? armatus for sale? as it happens, apparently shipping fish from Sing is not so complicated. I am negotiating to have some colorful aros sent to me in Laos from your island... heheheh shhhhhhh big secret still. I will anounce once the deal is signed and sealed :naughty:

If you are ever in my neighborhood, let me know. Always a pleasure to share my set-up with an ethusiast like myself (though i am away quite often)
