update, my silver arowana is doing great. He has grown from 7''-12'' and he has blue, pink, orange color all over and is a stunning silver aro. I think its all the good food and the vita chem:)

anyways here is my question

my tank is up next week. its is going to be a 500 gallon ( 88.5'' long x 42'' wide x 31'' tall around there ) I have my one silver arowana, 2 wild oscars, 3 motoro stingrays. can I add another silver arowana?

I asked one guy and he said no, one aro or six. and I asked another guy and he said yeah you will be fine.

what do you guys think?

It's risky, I would stick with just one as they may fight. If you're going to get multiple aros it's best to have more, I'm told at least 5 will spread any aggression out. But that will seriously fill up your tank, depending on what else you might want to keep I'd stick with one silver.

thanks, It was just a idea.

I would still like to hear everyones two cents :)

I think for 500 gallons 1 arowana 2 oscars 3 motoro stingrays the tank is almost full.

might work but its risky,id try 4+ its safer but just get 1
