compatibility with convicts?

I keep cons in my community cichlid tank.They take over a small corner and defend it,but otherwise don't mess with the other fish.Of course I mix a lot of fish together that shouldn't be mixed,but I have very few problems.

It is possible that i.d. sharks will max out in a home aquarium tank at 12-15". They seem to get their growth stunted!
