They are mainly vegetarian fish so try and stay on that diet. A lot of pellets contain protein.

Ohk thanks alot for all the help will try some more vegetarian based foods. Is NLS Thera A good for them? I hear it's a pretty good food for all types of fish

There's plenty of veggie matter in NLS (algae meal, spirulina, etc). I wouldn't worry about diet so much, and just allow the fish to settle in for a few weeks.
