Compatibilty Question....

watch the red tail shark they arent very nice with gouramis and angels, just my 2 cents.

?How can you tell between a Tire track eel and a Zig Zag eel

go with a zig-zag.. I've have peacocks eat Kuhlis in the past. they are voracios eaters anything small enough to fit will be eaten. Cory's shouldn't be an issue either, they have enough defenses.

You can tell the difference due to patterning. TT's look as the name suggests. like a tire ran over them, or more girrafe-like patterning. zig zags have smaller/narrower more erradic stripes. many zig zags also have horizontal striping as well or a more barred look.

In my tank i have:
10xGuppys
3xRed rummy nose
5-8 ghost shrimp.

ive seen some shrimp half eaten, do you think my Zigzag eel might have eaten it?


Also another question. How long should i wait till i feed him? i bought him two days ago

News about me new eel.


:/ hes not eating the blood worms(frozen) i give him, @ first i just tossed a bock, then noticed hes not eating, and this was the first day i bought him so be might have eaten already. later on i tossed another cube like 2 days after the first one i put in, he still didn't eat. So i waited about 3 days got a cube and cut it in half and tossed it in, he still didn't eat. But also every time i tossed a cube in, i pinched a blood worm and tried hand-feeding. Still he has no interest in eating. Can anyone give me some pointers? or explain to me is there anything that can be affecting my eel internally(Maybe my tank?)
