Helo people

I wanted to ask you in your experience
What monster fish are easily compatible to be put together in a community tank
Of course I know the basic rule is they have to be the same size.

Thanx

Tank size and stocking density means a lot in this context.
Often the big guys like pacu, aros, and cats will be fine with anything that they cannot eat, but aggressive to what they can attack. Similar story with polys.

Helo and ty for the answers

I have a 6 feet 150 gallon tank wich I want to keep for medium sized fish like 3 bichir that I already have and I'm planing to make a indoor pond of 10 ftx6ft for the bigger guys (atm 3 paroon Babys)

Paroon sharks get huuuuuge! I’d bet even 10x6 is small!
In a 150 you aren’t really looking at huge monsters. Mostly bichirs and some mid size cichlids as far as the biggest fish.

You need a way bigger pond than that for the paroon sharks. They have a 3 meter adult size, which is as long as the pond itself.
Not to mention they are very active, and apparently quite aggressive/territorial if there is not enough space. You'd probably need the pond to be at least 18 meters long.

As for your 568 liter, it does still give you quite a few options even though it's only suitable to house the lower bounds of what 'monster' fish are sizewise. With bichirs, Deadeye's suggestion of cichlids is good.

Hi. After check it's not the 3 meter paroon I confounded but rather the pangasius wich gets to 4 feet long

Great to hear. The planned width of the pond is fine (since it fits the 1.5x width rule of thumb), but I'd advise increasing the length of the pond to at least 9 meters. If it's any smaller, you will almost certainly find that the pangasius get very skittish, hit the walls, and kill themselves.

Good luck!
