my nephew used to work for fedex

he says no one gives a crap about the "handle with care" labels

where I used to work, we'd ship 100 pound products in an upright position with labels. customers would tell me the boxes would show up on it's sides and returning products would also come to us on it's side or upside down (ups, dhl, fedex, didn't matter)

I was at FedEx in Memphis for a few days working several years ago. Packages are falling off the carts all over the place. They have guys following to pick them up. No care is taken with anything. It's a numbers game. They ship millions a day and damage a few dozen. So what.

I always go with private shipping companies like DHL they do a lot better job PO is over paid workers that are lazy.

DHL only does international shipping now.

Lol, no just didn't like the hours. That was a decent opportunity for me actually.

I should have expanded on that a little more. If DHL services your area you can ship from any address for the most part as long as its going international. If ordering incoming packages it might show up via post office depending on the service area. Outside of the major cities most of the freight it delivered by a contract company that is using dhl branded vans,
