I am forced to sell my 40 gallon breeder setup, due to college this fall. I have over $500 invested, but will sell for $350. This will make an excellent saltwater reef tank. In fact the lighting, which has not been mounted yet, includes 2 65 watt compact bulbs, 2 65 watt ballasts, and 3 small moonlights. I have 4 polycarbonate clips for the bulbs, which I paid a pretty penny for online. I have 2 150 watt jager heaters for it. The tank is a 40 gallon breeder that has been drilled for the overflow. The sump is a 20 gallon with a 1/4 inch polycarbonate drill system. There are 102 pot scrubbers for the media. There is room in the sump for a protein skimmer, which I do not have. The return pump is a mad drive and is plumbed back to the tank and back to the drip plate so you can control the desired flow or you can shut the flow off to the tank while you service the tank and keep the filter running so your bacteria do not die. Also while you service the tank, the pipe in the overflow can be removed, which will drop the level about 1.5 inches so you do not splash water out of the tank, but you can keep the water return to the tank running. This tank has about 100 lbs of sand that will go with it and the large gray rocks will go with it if you want them. The tank has a thermometer on the front of the glass in the bottom left corner and a floating glass one I include. Mounting inside of the stand is a 6 outlet box with a plug coming out of the box for a timer so it does not take up an extra outlet on the 6 outlet plate. I will include a timer for the lights. The inside of the canopy has been painted with a high quality of high gloss white paint so get max. reflection. This truely has everything you need for a setup. It has been running 3 mouths with no problems at all. I have 8 large red eye tetras I used to cycle the tank and they will go with the tank if you would like them. I orginally was going to set the tank up as a freshwater planted or a saltwater reef, but I need to get rid of a few tanks due to college which will decrease my funds for the hobby. If you have any questions about anything, I would be happy to answer them for you. I am located just west of the Indianapolis Airport.
