I've always known Rineloricaria Species (the one in your pic) to be referred as Whiptail.

I always thought farlowella catfish were "whiptail" catfish, oh well I now have this little guy and a farlowella haha

Finalized the stock for the tank yesterday, some peppered cory juveniles that I hatched and raised myself, 3 pearl gourami, bristlenose pleco, whiptail cat, M/F bolivian ram, no signs of pairing but fingers crossed. I'm really happy with the tank, and I wish every office could have a simple set up like this, would probably fix the economy

Just turned the lights on and my Cory's are spawning, for their first time. I raised the ones spawning from eggs, and now they are givin me eggs. they must really like the new tank, I'm not gunna grow them out though but it's a pretty heavily planted tank so if they survive on there own, then I'd be happy with just that
