There is no way on earth you can piece together something similar for 200. Thats a pretty good deal.

Video editing won't be that great. You will get slow compression rates with a P4. I have a dual xenon P4 3.0GHz. My laptop with a dual core can do the same video frames in half the time. The benefit with the tower is that I can get the same rate on 8 different sessions.

For single stream editing go for a dual or quad core.

Yea, I don't have money to drop on a new system. Im getting this for free and buying things that will last beyond this system, like an expensive, top quality monitor, external hard drives and a video card. The only thing i'll be putting in this PC that is for "THIS" pc, is ram. And DDR2 is extremely cheap now.

SO the things im buying will be for my college and chosen profession mostly, not really the PC.
