There is a major change. she barely moves at all. and eating in front of me is now nonexistant compared to what she was like before. I did treat with Prazi pro and just treated with some salt because of other rays.Is this a major change from her previous behavior and none of the others have changed? When in doubt I treat with prazi and salt and maybe creap up the temp. Hope it all turns out.
is she much smaller than the other rays in the tank?
i recently had a small 7-8' female marble in my big 1200 gal tank with a bunch of larger rays. she got along with everyone but all of a sudden stopped moving around a lot like she usually would before she went into the big tank with the big guys and slowed down on the eating. in my case she started to get darker but im assuming its because the tank is somber. i moved her back to my 120 pup tank with the geos and she came right back around. no clear indication as to why she behaved the way she did. she didnt hide though all she did was sit still for long periods of time.
She is the 2nd biggest female in my group. She was one of the first rays in this tank when i moved them. I feel it may be possible agression from the males. I found 2 of my females discs destroyed and torn enough to worry me. I did large water change and put some salt. though it seems my males have calmed down. possibly shot off it's "main cannons" and no longer a horny rabid dog. But the female of concern has no bitemarks that i can see. her disc is in perfect shape...
