Tool sucks live, IMO. Maynard spends more time with his theatrics than he does actually putting effort into his song, they're one of those bands that sound great on the album, but like a garbbled mess on stage.

The first time I saw GWAR was at Knotts Scary Farm, one of them sawed a dead pig in half with a chainsaw, it was AWESOME!!!

GWAr's shows are unbeatable with the theatrics!!! Gor Gor is my favorite prop, especially when he does battle with Jewcifer! Definitely do not want to wear your favorite clothes to one of their shows, they will never be the same.

I saw them in January 07 and thought they were quite good. Crazy light show, heaps of energy. I'd suggest you go see them and decide for yourself. Chances are if you're that hyped about seeing them you'll love it regardless.

In just the past year....
Tool
Nine Inch Nails 5x
and Marylin Manson
and Nails again in Aug!!

I agree with DirtyBlackSocks, Maynard is a "***" but a genius as well. I acutlly had floor seats which I thought was awesome, but I guess I missed out on an awesome light show. I wont lie, I'll go see Tool any chance I get.

Paramore and Jimmy Eat World are played in my town tonight and I really wanted to go seeing as how it was my birthday and all but tickets were sold out so I went to work anyway. About an hour into my shift, a friend of mine called and offered me two free tickets to the show. boy am I pissed.

  1. Death pony has a special search for any threads relating to gwar, lol.Tool was great the 2 times I saw them here,I heard the last time they came it wasnt so good.First time was over 10 years ago in a smaller theater and he was very into edging the stage and staring you down.Next time it was a big arena and i was also up against the stage,he stayed more up by the drummer and didnt do much but the visuals around the arena and their sound was incredible.I did hear dif about their last show here though.
