Those synos can be very aggressive, each will need it's own spot in the tank. And you might have an issue when the lights go off.

I already have the Synodontis, with enough hiding spots, it seems fine.
I'm looking to know how this stock would do in a 140g, with an FX5 filter. How meny water changes you guys think i would need to do.

At least 25% a week, but get a test kit, maybe you can do bigger water changes fewer times. But it all depends on what the tests say, but still once a week I think is a pretty fair deal. That way you get to remove all the leftovers and poop, and most fish behave and feel better with regular and consistent water changes.

I change 40 a week. I do test. I was just afraid that a large amount of plecos, like this would make for like water changes every day.

What do you have for substrate?

Sand or gravel?

Pleco's do waste alot, so i'd continue with 40 a week, and see how that goes initially, then adjust accordingly.

A single bristlenose would poop to shreds my 5 gallon in a single day, so i wish you good luck.
