It's a nice GT and shows potential but it doesn't look full grown. Around here, from the LFS I would expect to pay $35-$40 if he were an 8"+ fish. That is buying from a store though. From a another hobbyist I would expect to pay a little less.

Nice looking young male with a lot of green in the body, I've seen more gold in the fins however. I would probably go up to $35-40 for that fish and nothing more.

The best way to get a great GT is find a local breeder who has taken his time and you can see the parents and buy a couple of fry.

I spent $35 on a full grown male here, but they are hard to find at that size in my area.
