Confirmed Freak Of Nature!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i remember both of these both vids and pics...their both disgusting...and yes freaks of nature alright...lol the jardini in the video reminds me of what happens to some filipino's that gets those nasty bumps or bubbles on their face...but for those unfortunate they get it all over their body in the coarse of days...or weeks...i saw it on the filipino channel awhile back

Thanks to Koji for bringing up the video link properly..Phew..

Anyway..something I notice, such 'disease' or 'mutation' as we chose to call only happens to Jardinis? I mean as far as I see so far...

yea its pretty odd...only the jardini's have been the only arowana thats found with this disease like thing...:screwy: wonder why

That reminds me of a disease like lymphocystis or something like it. It is a viral disease that causes cells to mutate and form cauliflower like growths. Not hereditary. Never buy a fish with lymphocystis.

It looks to me like it is confined to the cartilagenous tissues of the gill operculum. Someone should take some of this tissue and examine the cell hypertrophy. I was a parasitologist in the past.

ewwww fish with leprosy :D
