Thanks tomka.., I am really considering them fish.. But they are expensive and I need to see adult pics just to help decide if they are worth every penny.. I know the Baha'is are common now with f1+ fry.. But with that comes increase chance of deformity due to frequent inbreeding.... I think the best f1 that can be better than wc are the selective breeding type from different parents lineage.. But nobody will give effort for that here except those Asian countries where quality = high price.. Good business to have but requires attention to details..

Go to the media lounge & check out isde's christmas 2013 update thread. The 8th picture down is his Ipatinga. Not even close to fully grown but you can already see the difference between that fish & most other kels (in my opinion)...

I'm torn between the very affordable aquascape kelberis, the hella pricy WC ipatingas, or the xingu from fish heaven.. If money ain't a thing I'll have them all.. But I can't!! Best solution are the aquascape but then, high risk deformity or lack of its attractive trait cuz it's probably captive bred through inbreeding!!
Thanks its 12" and still developing....wc kels develop and grow a lot slower than cb kels but imo most wc kels end up looking better. But with that said Bahia look awesome too which is why I have both. Here's a pic of my cb Bahia
Appreciate the input isde... I still have time to decide cuz year is not over yet.. I also have the xingu and Azul in mind, but don't they brighten the tank as well as the kels do!!
Sometimes you get what you pay for then later on you'll wish you spent that little extra money...
