Yeah, but what I do love about the large chain brands is if they ever do get any rare or interesting fish im able to "take advantage" of the new recruits and get pricier fish for cheaper. Once got some keyholes for half off because I told the guy that they were Bolivian rams
Ikr lol it would be nice to have a few breeding pairs to help make them a lil more common in the hobby. They are a great looking lil dwarf plec tho. I think they'd be worth paying top dollar for a handful atleast.
Defo, also have you seen the discus on aquabid? They are from mystlebeach discus and its like one 5 inch discus for 1 dollar because nobody is bidding on them right now? So are people getting these discuses after bidding the minimum or are the posting being taken down if not that many people bid?
Lol not exactly a nice thing to do but can't say I haven't done it myself before. Used to do that at Walmart with the betta cups, just swap the lid and you were good to go. Most ppl didn't check to see if it was veiltail or a crowntail so they would just scan it and go.
If the time runs out they just take the offer down. But you can buy the fish outright as long as nobody has placed a bid on it.
Well it only worked at Walmart because half of the employees were basically dead inside and just wanted to be done with their shift.
