Congicus finlets

Not sure if any have noticed. But the fatter the congi gets and the larger. The finlets are small compared to their frame. Only when under 18" the finlets are semi-long. Their much longer when juveniles under around 14" similar to lapredei.

Yup agree. But this is more of a different shape not soo much size. Will post aome pics later. Probably be a fruitless search but what the heck

My lighter congicus


Darker congicu with wavy finlets.



I wanted to see if some sort of pattern would emerge. Im guessing its either a defect or was injured at some point during capture.

J jaws7777 great compilation. The only time i've seen curvy finlets like that was on my CB lapradei. But it is also entirely possible that it could've been caused by injury.
