Congo Tetras good idea??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have three Congos in a 75G along with a Blood Parrot, EBJDs, Humpheads, Clown Loaches. They are very nice fish. However, they can fall victim to fin nippers.

I had mine for about two years and I think they are max'd out at a little over 3".

BTW - If you can find them, Humpheads are a nice 2" fish that keeps in a loose school formation.

Those Humpheads look cool, but i've never seen them for sell around were I live, and I could imagine the congos would fall victim to fin nipping, so I hope none of my fish will nip them

I don't want to put any cichlids in there because of the aggression issue

Not all cichlids are "aggressive." Most SA cichlids are pretty peaceful. Severums are big, gentle giants.

I was actually looking for cichlids, just to see if I could find a nice peaceful one and severums came up, I liked them and did some research, but I saw somewhere that they are agressive, so I kinda just gave up after that. But now maybe I'll look into getting one
