cons are common?

well, i went to 4 stores today (petsmart, pet supplies plus, petco, and fin 'n' feather) in search of a female con, preferably a pink one. no luck. how crappy is that?

PetSmart, well my local one, gets their cons from everyday breeders....The store manager said to me if I had a spawn, to sell him the batch for credit...Always, I mean everyday, there are cons stocked in PetSmart tanks...As far as pink ones, yeah they go fast....SO I would ask the store dudes to hold some....BTW, I shop at PetSmart for dog food and toys, not fish....

i have never bought any fish from any of those except the fin and feather. but i always look. and if i find the female pink i am looking for i am buying. no matter which store

go to puppy center in west hartford
they have about a million of them i dont even think they order them from a wholesaler they just take a ton of fry in, they even have a few breeding in their tanks!

There is also a Fins 'n' Feathers near me as well. Probably a pretty common name for a pet store.

well, i got got a female con today. it is very small. maybe 1/3 the size of my male. and it isnt pink. but i settled,cuz i couldnt find the pink one. hopefully she doesnt get beat up. wish me luck.
