LOL, at least you understood my question this time ;)

Only thing is that's a pool not a pond. I thought it was an actual pond. I asked my local fish expert one time about using one of those outdoor pools to house some fish once and he said it would work, but 2 things. 1. You better hope that it doesn't spring a leak. 2. He said you would have to use a large amount of carbon in the filter because the plastic/vinyl will make the water have that "plastic garden hose" taste/attributes.

You can build a plywood tank/pond and put in a pond liner.
Pond armor is a great sealant if you are not interested in liners: http://www.pondarmor.com/store/index.htm

I wouldn't mind doing that but I didn't do well in wood shop so that's why the inflatable was lookin like a good idea. Do pondliners have the same effect as the material the pool is made out of?
If not then you just gave me the idea of using a pondliner inside of the inflatable pool. That way it's an extra layer of protection from any teeth causing a puncture.

I really don't think you need to worry about a fish puncturing the pool I linked you to. A large liner is expensive. Another member here has used the same pool with great success...it's a metal frame pool, not an inflatable. From my understanding they are more durable and probably don't have the smell you mentioned other pools have.

Metal Frame... I like the sound of that :D

Also, that picture of the family in the pool is really funny if you picture a 3 foot gator gar swimming around in there with them :headbang2

Hi,

"The pen is mightier than the sword, if it has been sharpened to a fine point, dipped in deadly poison and is thrown from ten feet away. But really, you're better off with a sword."
Cool! I think I might be able to do that!
If I get the gator gar I'll get back to you on the offer.

Thanks.

I'll have to run this idea by my parents first before anything else.

Definitely. My dad will probably like the idea. My mom is the one in question. If it weren't for the tank size restrictions on campus.....

or you could go to a farm supply store and they have cattle troughs. They make them in large sizes and if its a metal one, buy pond liner and voila you got yourself a pond
