A little off topic, but looking at some aquariums with better footprints...should a tank with smallest dimension of 36" be able to fit through a normal doorway if the stop is removed? I can't find a tape measure to just measure my door at the moment!

You have a very nice setup, love the dimensions...

I am looking into trading my tank in for something a little better footprint wise, trying to consider a straight swap or upgrading the size as well, 8x4x2 or 8x4x3....worried that 2 is too short and 3 will be a pain with doorways.

Not all doors/doorways are the same width...

Yes, thats why I was thinking 2.5 tall would be the best for an 8x4 footprint, if I can find one.

Anyone know of a 8'x4'2.5' available? I am looking to trade if possible...and really prefer a side overflow.

Those dimensions are perfect! 3 feet tall looks nice but is too deep imo
